- 1½ cups all-purpose flour (180g)
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 36 Hershey’s chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed just until combined.
Scoop dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar, if desired. Place on prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches between cookies.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cookies are set and edges are lightly golden brown.
Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie. They will crack slightly, which is perfectly normal!
Let cookies cool completely on the baking sheets before storing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
Tips & Variations:
- For extra peanut butter flavor, use a natural peanut butter with no added sugar.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough for a warm spice flavor.
- Use different types of chocolate kisses, such as caramel or mint.
- Make mini peanut butter blossoms by using a smaller cookie scoop.
