- 1 1/3 cups (170 g) all-purpose flour
- 7 tbsp (40 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (90 g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add the egg, oil, sour cream, sugars, and vanilla. Whisk until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—do not overmix.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups (about 3/4 full). Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
